Botanical & Ornamental Tattoo Art

I’m Monica, an ornamental tattoo artist and illustrator based in Munich. I create blackwork ornaments and botanical pieces that blend together dark, bold elements with softer textures and details.

 

My background is in Neuroscience and Mental Health. I didn't leave that world behind, but brought it with me into every consultation and every design.

 

My work reflects the contrast between strength and vulnerability, showing the depth and emotion found in each person’s story, through simple, yet powerful ornaments.

 

The tattoos I create are not only decorations. They are stories and symbols of transformation or reflection. Your grandma's favourite flower, the flower you got for your 18th birthday or the leaves from a tree you used to climb in your childhood. All these are part of your life story, they transformed something in you and they deserve to be worn with pride, forever on your skin. 

 

I approach every piece mindfully, guiding my clients through a calm and personal process where art becomes a way to heal, honor, or express their truth.

 

My hope is that when you step into my world, you’ll feel more like yourself, alongside a sense of calm and connection.
